General PoolEase Questions

1. What system requirements are needed to run PoolEase?
   PoolEase requires a minimum of Windows 98 to run.  (also Vista compatible).
    
2. Does PoolEase run on a Mac?
   PoolEase is a windows based program.  In order to run on a MacIntosh you will have to install a windows emulator on your computer.
    
3. I use Bromine instead of Chlorine, can I still use PoolEase?
   Yes, PoolEase works with Bromine as well as Chlorine.  Simply check off Bromine at the top of the main screen.
    
4. I have a saltwater pool, can PoolEase calculate salt content?
   Yes, PoolEase also works with saltwater pools.
    
5. I use some very specific chemicals in my pool, will PoolEase allow me to add these into the calculations?
   PoolEase has an special feature where you can add your specific algicide, mineral control, and room for one more chemical of your choice.
    
6. If I buy PoolEase on CD Rom, will I also get a download link so I can start using it right away?
   Yes, you'll receive a download link after payment is received, and your CD will be sent in the mail.
    
7. I don't know my pool volume, what do I do?
   PoolEase comes with a built in pool volume calculator.  This feature allows you to calculate volumes for square, rectangular, round, oval, and odd shaped pools.
    
8. Will I get notified of new versions?  Will I get updates for free?
   Yes, you will be notified of new versions as they come out.  If there are small updates you will receive them for free.  When a new version of PoolEase comes out, you will receive the opportunity to purchase it for a reduced price.

Payment Questions

1. Do I need to be a Paypal member to use your shopping cart?
   No, you do not need to register with Paypal in order to use our shopping cart.  You just need to give your credit card information as you would with any other shopping cart.
    
2. How long does it take before I get me copy of PoolEase?
   After payment is received, you will be sent an email with a download link from where you can download your copy of PoolEase.  The link is kept active for 48 hrs to give you a chance to download it.  We check our emails regularly, so it is not unusual to receive your link the same day.
    
3. I paid using Paypal eCheck, why haven't I gotten my copy of PoolEase yet?
   When You use eCheck to pay for your purchases, it takes 3 to 4 business days for Paypal to clear it.  After it is cleared and we receive the money from Paypal, we will send you your copy of PoolEase.

Troubleshooting

1. I get an error that says "Setup cannot install system files or shared files if they are in use" when I try to install PoolEase.  What do I do?
   When this error message appears, you most likely have system files that are still open and locked by another application.  You can try to do the following:
   1. Restart your computer.
   2. Make sure you wait until windows is completely loaded.
   3. Make sure you are logged in as an administrator.
   4. Make sure you are the only user logged on.
   5. Then try the install

1. How do I become an Affiliate?
   Simply Contact Us and ask to become an affiliate.  You will then be sent a link that is specific to you so we can track how much traffic is coming from your link.  You can use our banner to promote PoolEase from your site. Check out our affiliate page now.
2. Can anyone become an Affiliate?
   Almost anyone can become an affiliate for PoolEase software.  However it is in the sole discretion of PoolEase to determine who will accepted in to the affiliate program.  We do not allow sites that are illegal, sites with pornographic material, racist sites, or generally sites that would make PoolEase look bad, to become affiliates.
3. Is there a minimum I have to sell in order to be an Affiliate?
   No minimum is required.
4. How often do I get paid?
   You will get paid once a month if your commission total is above $10.  If you've made less than $10 in that month, your commission will be added on to the next month.

1. How can PoolEase help my store?
   PoolEase can be customized to have your store name, address, and website on the program.  It will also use the brand names of the chemicals that you sell in your store.  Each time your customer uses "your" program they will be reminded of your store and will be more likely to buy the chemicals they need from you.
2. How long does it usually take to get my customized version of PoolEase?
   We can generally have your customized version of PoolEase ready within 2 weeks, depending on how busy we are.
